Efficacy-Based Training (Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, Illinois) 
Hamilton Sundstrand was known for the constant speed drive they manufactured. They had the market cornered and thought that would not change. Their major contractor told them of their need for a variable speed drive. Dr. Carliain Dawson utilized their efficacy-based principles and analyses which resulted in Sundstrand launching a competitive variable speed drive. This resulted in winning a significant new contract.

Los Angeles City Human Relations Bureau
Roy Dawson was selected to resolve numerous organizational challenges including threats of budgetary denials and termination of top leadership of the Los Angeles City Human Relations Bureau. We first developed and implemented a special image strategy, which enabled our client to keep the bureau operating at full funding. We also brought business and community leaders in South Central Los Angeles together, in order to led three very successful construction projects with federal dollars and city expertise. Additionally, The Gideon Group created and implemented a “continuing care system of housing” for the chronically mentally ill residents of California.

Employee Involvement Project (Honeywell Corporation, Phoenix)
Roy Dawson was a principal consultant in a “total employee involvement’ project at Honeywell Corporation. We utilized a proprietary self managed work group modeling technique along with quality improvements approaches to involve employees for positive solutions. This successful approach resulted in dramatically reducing costs while improving efficiency in solving manufacturing and assembly process issues.

New HR Department and Systems Establishment (Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, Phoenix)
Roy Dawson established the Human Resources department for a new subsidiary of Pinnacle West Captial Corp. Roy Dawson, The Gideon Group, was subsequently named to become the first HR director and established all HR systems and programs for SunCor Development Company.
